Central Florida Driving Tour

We suggest starting your driving tour in Orlando, most of the U.S. airlines and several international airlines serve the Orlando International Airport and the near Orlando-Sanford International Airport, as well as Amtrak passenger and auto train services.

Orlando is home to several themes and amusement parks. Here is located the world-famous Disney World, which includes four theme parks, Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom, and two water parks Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Also, the Downtown Disney is an entertainment complex with shops, restaurants, movie-theater, clubs, arcades, acrobatic artistry, outdoor theater, music, and the famous Cirque du Soleil “La Nouba”, and even an indoor interactive theme park, Disney Quest.

Another giant is Universal Orlando Resort; with two parks, the always popular Universal Studios, a movie-based theme park, and Islands of Adventure, a rollercoaster base theme park. Part of Universal Resort is City Walk an entertainment complex with nightclubs, restaurants, shops, concerts, and cinemas; here you can have a night of fun with friends and family or a romantic evening for couples.

And of course, SeaWorld Parks offer SeaWorld Orlando, a marine life base theme park, Aquatica a water park and Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive tropical getaway that offers exciting animal encounters, like swimming with dolphins or snorkeling on a man-made reef with thousands of exotic tropical fishes and rays.

Another famous attraction is Wet and Wild, one of the best water parks in the nation.

Of course, there is more to see and to do in Orlando. International Drive and Route 192 are also popular areas for entertainment; home to fun houses and one-of-a-kind museums, restaurants with offerings from all over the world, hotels from the family budget to luxurious resorts, shopping centers, amusement centers, mini-golf, and dinner shows for every member of your party, from Medieval Times, Pirates and Arabian Nights to Capone’s and Sleuths Mystery Dinner Shows.

Once you have satisfied your taste for Orlando, drive east towards the coast, on the 528 expressway “The Beachline”. You are heading towards Florida’s Space Coast, a 72 miles area along Florida’s East Coast, to enjoy a visit to Cape Canaveral, Titusville, Merrit Island, Cocoa, and Cocoa Beach.

Visit historic downtown areas in Titusville, Cocoa, and Cocoa Beach.

Over 100 of the best surfing spots on the East Coast can be found right here on Florida’s Space Coast; as well as some of the best Florida Beaches. Relax and enjoy the beach and the beach scene. Try your surfing skills, you can also try parasailing, skipping the waves on a boogie, or kayaking at the break of dawn.

Enjoy an afternoon at the Cocoa Beach Pier, home to several shops, restaurants, and bars, and during the summer, concerts and live musical entertainment.

Consider a stop by the Ron Jon Surf Shop, perhaps the world’s most famous surf shop and one of the Space Coast’s most visited attractions. The Ron Jon Surf Shop has over 52,000 square feet spread across three levels, here you’ll find a huge selection of boards, swimsuits, and surf brand clothing.

Plan a visit to the Valiant Air Command & Vintage Warbird Museum, located at the Space Coast Executive Regional Airport in Titusville; the museum displays all types of military aircraft, artifacts, and memorabilia from the WW1 war up to the present time.
